Focusing on the possibilities.

What is first?

Steps to identify strengths and opportunities:
Start with a diagnosis that measures the maturity of data-driven decision-making, as well as the robustness of the internal data governance model. Followed by a diagnosis of the impact of external data on decision-making.
All companies have enormous potential to develop based on data what they already have available, which perhaps with a little order, a practical and simple design, can positively impact operational and managerial management.

On the success way.

How to establish the action plan?

Identify resources, find the plan's concept, strategic analysis, and budgeting..
With the previous diagnosis, we will be able to identify improvements with a direct impact on operational and managerial management, which once orchestrated and led with a clear and defined purpose, can be implemented to facilitate processes. It is important to focus on managing internal data with big data management principles, to obtain the greatest possible impact and prepare for the next leap of organizational changes.

Reinventing the business and strategies.

Developing the data management model

Map data and processes, identify gaps, validate conceptualization, and connect silos
Datadriven model.

Decision-making based on data analysis is the smart way to use organizational management reports and indicators. Therefore, the data governance strategy must complement the corporate vision and serve as a magnet to maintain focus and attract the greatest possible synergy between the different actors of the internal and external processes.

Reaching goals and visualizing others, without attachment to the known.

How to continually improve?

Creating a team work culture and implementing a Processes Management Model.
Values such as cooperation and unity are the main ingredients to focus individual effort in the achievement of collective goals, adding incalculable value to the results, the privilege of having multiple points of view, analysis and expertise.

Basic concepts

Master Data

Fundamental and mandatory information under which business operations are processed. For example: a record of a customer or machinery.

Transactional Data

Referred to a business operation in a specific time. It requires at least two master data. For example: the sale of a machinery to a customer.

Facts as master data

Referred to generally standardized data in the records. For example: company name, fiscal address, tax identification, etc.

Customized master data

Referred to data or data sets that combined with standardized elements provide relevant information in the processes. For example: application of local taxes when the customer's country of residence is the same to the company's domicile.

Data types

We can have unstructured data and structured data. For example: The first, can be a PDF file of the local tax exemption for a customer and the second one, the record in the system of this exemption during the period of time approved for the specified tax type, so it should be applied accordingly and automatically to invoices issued during the correct period.

Data hierarchy

Referred to the organizational structure or data architecture from which the process flow is built. For example: in terms of the sales hierarchy, an entity will have a sales organization, then a sales office, a sales channel and finally sellers.

Report

List of information or transactional data with certain predetermined characteristics. For example: quantity of equipment delivered from the warehouse during the current month.

Key performance indicator (KPI)

Statistical and intelligent representation of the results obtained through reports. For example:  porcentual net margen of preventive maintenance services sales during the current month.
